Sailing upstream along the townwalls, you will be able to admire the «Rocher des Doms» and the «Pont St Benezet» (famous Avignon bridge). Back downstream you will discover VILLENEUVE and its «Fort St André» and «Tour Philippe Le Bel». Upstream again pass through the large lock of Avignon dam the sailing along Chateauneuf du Pape vinyard.

KINGDOM CRUISE

With stop in villeneuve.
Departure time : 12.00, arrival time : 6.00 p.m
Boarding time 30 min before
Sailing upstream along the town walls then downstream to the confluence of the River Durance, ARAMON Village, passing through the large lock of Vallabrègues Dam to BEAUCAIRE and TARASCON with its famous castle.
Upstream again to stop at 3:15 p.m. in VILLENEUVE where you can either visit the town on your own (Tour Philippe Le Bel, the church, the cloister…) or take part to a guided tour (with optional supplement – please book in advance).

Boarding time 30 min before
Sailing upstream along the town walls, you will see the“ Pont Saint Benezet”, the “palais des papes” and passing through the large lock of Vallabrègues dam, you get to BEAUCAIRE and TARASCON with its castle. You will then arrive in ARLES, with its ancien monuments overlooking the curve of the river, near the city centre at 2.15 p.m. During the stop, you may either visit the town on your own.

CHATEAUNEUF DU PAPE CRUISE
With stop in Chateauneuf du pape.
For group only
From Avignon you can see the ramparts, the Palais des Papes and the famous bridge of Avignon. In Villeneuve you vill see the Philippe le Bel Tower. Then, in Roquemaure the boat will pass through a lock. And, you vill visit Chateauneuf du Pape from 14.45 to 17.00 pm. The name Chateauneuf du Pape comes from the Pope’s castle (XIVth century) built thanks to Jean XXII. Because of its wine this small town has a worlwide renown. Only in this French village, the wine has 13 different qualities of grapes.
During the scheduled stop : wine tasting in one of the most famous cellars.
Visits : chapels,Provençal and Roman church, oratory.
Exceptional view of the vallée du Rhône from the Castel.
During the return : music and dance.
