Boarding 30 minutes before.
Stop from 2.15 pm to 4.15 pm
The boat leaves Avignon, the famous Pont d’Avignon and the Palace of Papes, then passes the big Vallabregues lock(14 meter drop), Aramon, Beaucaire (when the canal du midi starts), Tarascon and its magnificent castle which belonged to the Good King René, onthe water’s edge. We stop in Tarascon, home of the legendary Tarasque and Tartarin, written by Alphonse Daudet. The medieval city is home to Souleïado fabrics, and has many historical traditions and treasures, including the tomb of Saint Martha.
At 4.15 pm we lift anchor and return to Avignon.
